Whale watching

So a few weeks ago I had a chances to go on a whale watching trip for class credit. I have always wanted to go on one so I jumped at it. I get to go see whales and get credit for class? I don't see a downside to this. And there was not, I had so much on this trip. It was a all day trip out of Santa Barbra and it when out to the Channel Island and we just floated around all day.
